Svi Mykhailiuk holds records for being the youngest player to play for the Ukrainian Senior National team and the most 3 pointers in a season in Kansas basketball history

Sviatoslav “Svi” Mykhailiuk was born in Cherkasy, Ukraine. His basketball journey started with the Cherkasy Mavpy Basketball Club, where he was the youngest player to ever play in the Ukrainian Superleague. In 2014, Svi became the youngest player in the history of the NIKE Hoop Summit at just 16 years old.

Eventually, Svi chose to continue his basketball career at the historic University of Kansas. His four years at KU culminated with a trip to the Final Four in 2018, in a year where Svi set the all-time Kansas record for three pointers made in a season.

In 2018, Svi was the 47th pick in the NBA Draft, when he was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers. In his second NBA season, while with the Detroit Pistons, Svi was selected to play in the Rising Stars Challenge. He has played for 4 NBA teams- Lakers, Pistons, OKC Thunder and currently with the Toronto Raptors.

Svi has represented the Ukrainian national program his entire career, including the U-16, U-18, U-20 European Championships as well as the Senior National Team in 2014 and 2018.
